This is the Bank Of America Tower in Downtown Houston. This is a building designed by the American architect Philip Johnson. He also designed Pennzoil Place which is right across the street from this building. This building has some beautiful high-rising Schindler-Haughton elevators from the 1980s, but The low rise and low mid rise elevators were getting modded with Otis CompassPlus. Fortunately, the original fixtures remain intact on the mid high rise and high rise elevators. But due to the mod, they made their elevators more secure!!! NNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! The high rise elevators were ROCKETS, and they travel 1200 FPM. You can even hear the sound coming from the motor room as soon as you approach the 47'th floor.
This is a Brookfield building and I saw something that caught my eye, which is an Otis CompassPlus Destination Dispatch System!!! This was quite a surprise for me because I never had the chance to ride an Otis CompassPlus before. Unfortunately, I got busted in there.
